In some cases when you complete the installation of the Attendant Console Standard, you may notice that the Directory lookup is not working. You may ask yourself, what could be the issue.
The issue Plain and simple, the Attendant console is not able to return any information from the Directory
The Solution At the installation stage you will be asked to provide the IP address of the CUCM server and the User name and password of the Console User:

In a nutshell here is a list of the phones that will no longer be supported by CUCM on version 11.5
Problem Description The following phone models are deprecated and are not supported by Cisco Unified Communications Manager Release 11.5(x). If you are using any of these phone models and you upgrade to release 11.5(x), you will be unable to use the phone after the upgrade. After you switch over to the new release, registration on the phone will be blocked.
